You should try and research as you go. If you try and absorb it all now, you may get confused. If you are about to start flower, study up on sexing, photoperiods, identifying hermies.
Once you got that going with your plant and things start moving along in flower, start reading and studying the next phase, examining trichomes, identifying nute deficiencies, looking for bugs. Then harvesting, drying. You have to study and always prepare yourself for the next cycle or phase in your garden.
Are you ready to flower? Have you determined the area you will use that is free of light? Have you decided what time of day you will run your 12/12 light cycle? Does it conflict with your daily schedule, like going to work?
I'm not being condescending, my point is... the more research you do, and time, love you invest, the better your end result will be.
