When lightbulb goes dead and ...

There's no replacement. This is the first time in over 5 years of growing that I have had an HPS bulb blow out and I don't have a replacement. My girls are almost 6 weeks into flowering and all I have is a MH vegging bulb of the same wattage as the HPS (600 watt). Will using the MH, to keep the girls on their light schedule, screw my grow up too bad until I get the replacement HPS in a few days?

Finish it off with the mh. The mh has uv which will give extra trich production while the hps has no uv. Your call on what you want to do.

I personally use a 10k finisher bulb on my last 3 weeks.

THIS. Plug in that MH and run it. You'll be surprised at the frost production!

Finish with the MH when I first started I used one for veg and flower and got really good results believe it or not.... and the plants won't stretch as much using the mh

MH was all we used years ago - all there was. As mentioned above the UV will give you trichomes that will amaze.....

What a relief thank ALL of you for your responses. You know these days we are taught MH for veg HPS for flower. I am glad to know that as long as the light schedule is still on point my ladies are going to be fine and even more trichomes? LOVE that!
