When should a carbon filter be placed?

plants still smell during veg, depends on your stealth needs. You will definitely need one in flowering

They say replace carbon filters once a year, Ive had one that has lasted me 2 years. replace when needed

You got any pictures of your setup? What kind of carbon filter and fan are you adding to the pc box?

Um it's a lil over a foot tall and a foot long. And I was looking atthe carbon filter made out of two pencil cup holder and I'm using a fan from the pc 12v fan. And i got two 15 watt cfls and lined up the walls with Mylar.

You will need more than 30watts total for your plants during flowering. I would recommend using 4 x 23watt bulbs. the 23 watt ones are more efficient. ALSO get the ones with 3000k or 2700k spectrum, thats the warm white bulbs.

You need a minimum of 4000 lumens per square foot for flowering. I think the 13 watt only has 800 lumens. So you would need at least 5 of the 15 watt. The 23 watt versions have 1475 lumens, you could go with 3. Since you already have two 15 watt ones then just add two more 23 watt 2700k

CFLs are fairly inexpensive in the states, a 6 pack of 26w CFLs can be bought at Lowes or Home Depot for about 12 -14 dollars. More light is ALWAYS the better option!!

Cram as many CFL bulbs in that PC case as you can!!:hump:

Haha okayy I'll cram a shot load em in the box. Or I'll just go buy a couple 23 watt ones.
Just scared if I put alot of em in there it would catch fire or some ducked up shit like that haha
