When should i put my (girls) under mh lights

Ok so my girls are 1 mo 4 days old i had them under a t 8 for most of the first mo but i ended up geting a t5 4 light 4 footer they sprouted right up under this light when is a good time to put the under a mh light i got a 400 w and im just itching to use it when shoud i switch o btw there in 2 gal pots ant there is 15 of them

If there at almost 5weeks why not do it now why wait im ony going to veg 4 to 6 weeks rember they will strech. gl happy growing

Straight away for me under a 1000w cranked down to 600w. Ive posted pics of mine at 13 days and they're fine. Generally Ive heard two weeks though. This is my first grow so dont take my word for it.

What du recommend then for lighting 18 6 how long til 12 12 when should i flower at what height

I veg MH 18/6 until pre-flower or they reach @ 30"-36, Height is not an issue for me.
I use Humbolt's Bush Master 2x's as soon as she goes to 12/12. this stops elongation in flower. I can control plant height down to 6" of my target height. I like my plants all one height in flower that way I can keep my light at one height also.

I agree. I put my sprouts right under the MH. That's unless heat or cost of running the MH is an issue in your situation.

Heat has been an issue once or twice spiking at 29 c. Electric...what can you say. T13 as I said this is my first grow this is what ive done. Straight under MH watered x4 times in 15 days. I have transplanted once using root juice into bio bizz light mix and given a very frugal first feed of big grow. Apart from that ive left them alone only adjusting plant position according to growth. This is the sum of my practical knowledge thus far. Surprisingly little laid out like this but so far has worked p.s. not saying I don't check them every 5 minutes though. Much love
