when should i start flowering

Well I changed the lights to 12/12 today but I was wondering if it was a good idea or not cuz I've had problems with dieing leaves so far but here is my album so look through them and tell me what u think. A lil bit about the plant. I'm useing a 75watt hps and 2 26watt tube lights. 24 8 16 nutes, organic potting mixs in a 5 gal bucket. It's up to you, the longer you veg it, the more you'll get out of it.. I would have kept the light closer though. It's kinda tall and not at all bushy..

Well I cut off so much leaves in the pass couple weeks that is pretty bare... what did u think of it tho

I cut them cuz they were dieing and turning yellow with the spots.

Look alright, a little nute burn looks like, but should be fine. Can't say how much it will yield though, it looks kinda small..
But hey, it's great for a start! I assume this is your first time?

Next grow, you should try to get some good nutes with a recommended feeding schedule. It will vastly improve the size.

Well they we dying so I figaed they would come off at some point but it seams to b making it spread. But yes this is my first indoor grow with so random seed I found in my reg nothing special. I just hope it makes it through flowering. How much would u say I might get off of it? More or less than an oz

That miracle grow isn't very good. Pick up some proper nutes at a hydro store, it'll last a long time. The MG will do fine for now though. Also, never cut off leaves unless they are shading a bud site. I f a leaf is being damaged by burn or deficiancy, cutting it will only shuffle the problem into other leaves. All that green in the leaves is food, and if the leaves are changing colour then the plant is using it. When the leaf pulls off EASILY then you can remove it.

So now its just going to spead to the next set of leaves? What if it just keeps going?

Less than an oz. That's kinda small. But you never know, some strains explode in flowering..
You should use a 3 part mix with a program. Most good brands come with a feeding program..

I use General Hydroponics. You can get it at any hydro store, maybe even some garden shops.. But defiantly online. They are $10 - $15 per bottle, and there are 3 bottles..
They are the best nutes for the price. And more expensive nutes don't make much of a difference (for me anyways).

If you want to get serious about growing some badass weed. You'll need the right stuff.. General Hydroponics flora series (the ones I use) are the best I've found for the money..
You'll also want to get some PH test strips.. You want your PH to be right.
And yes, the more light the better If you don't mind spending a little money, I would get a 400w switchable ballast. They run both MH and HPS.. MH for veg, HPS for flower.. You can get kits for like $160, including a bulb and reflector..

Also a good thing to remember, is most premix soils already have nutrients. Most times you don't need to add any nutrients till it's time to flower.. This may have contributed to your nutrient burn..

I personally don't like using MG with cannabis. But that's just my personal preference. I've had much greater success with Fox Farms soil.
You will probably be able to maintain one plant with your lights, I really can't elaborate much further without some visuals.

As far as flowering goes... My advice would be to start ASAP.
I started flowering my current grow at about 13-14 inches 3 weeks ago. They are all within inches of 2 feet now and its only been 3 weeks.
The plants are going to double in size during flowering and without sufficient light the bigger the plant becomes it is more problematic to maintain ideal conditions.

Well I switch the lights over today and ill stop cutting dying leaves off unless needed. Also ill have to get better nutes and better lights for my next grow for shoould

Yeah man, you usually get what you give The better you treat your plants. The more they will give you.
I'm about to flip mine to flower too.. I'm building a kick ass grow box, I just need to buy some lights and install the fans, then I'm cloning the nuken I'm veggin now, then I'm gonna flower them and keep the clones going in the new box .
