Hey guys ,

This is my first ever grow.

I grew 1 auto plant in a bubble bucket and 3 white widow plants in Autopots. The bubble bucket is doing great the others are doing crap:(

Anyways I can see the sex of my plant now and was wondering when I should use Bloom nutes? still using Veg nutes. All my plants are 35 days from seed. See pics attached.

use bloom frets when you are in flower. If your skilled enough to calculate the ratios between your 2 or 3 part feed program than you can introduce your bloom as your transition to flower. Your system is simple so I would keep it simple :) When your in flower, simply use your bloom frets.. So your from seed with an auto flower strain, u really dont have much time all together so you can be patient or snap them, what ever u decide. I would simply keep them in veg for as long as I could and flash them when they are 20 inchs or so.. I have delt with many many many numbers of clones that were all autoflowering, there are things u can do to help keep them in Veg. since your DWC, u have prob bought yourself some time.. If u have any questions on autoflowering feel free to ask, I deal lots with grows up north in Canada were Autoflower is only thing that works and to get plant numbers it takes lots of cloning and work but always been successful. Good luck

Its nice to ease out of veg nutes and into flower nutes during the week before flower.

They are 40 days old now and am following the nuterient recomendations of GH Flora series. I will post a pic she looks pretty happy but on the middle aged leaves there is like rusty brown small little spots on the leaves , added 1/15 of an ounce of Flora Bloom in the 4 gallons of water it is in to try help her out a bit.(From research seemed like the start of a magnesium deficiency).

her PPM is at 1220.

she is under 24/0 light. 1x 600 HPS and 1x 240W LED grow light (red spectrum)
Canopy temps are between 69-77
Root / reservour temps sit at about 72-74

My smaller white widow is recovering well and I am feeding her veg nutes at 600PPM , I hope she continues getting stronger...but I really cant wait for my Autoflower to well flower!

Ok guys this may sound strange but I actually think I love my baby plant...I have never really had a pet before and I wouldn't say I have a lot of friends either...but right now my plant is like my best friend...I cant wait to get up each morning to see how she is doing.....im actually upset she is growing up and is going to die soon:( I will keep Sandy (my white widow) in the veg state for longer to keep me company after Hymie (my Autoflower) passes away.
Does anyone else feel this way about their plants???

Hey, lol not really, I have a sexual attraction, imagining rubbing the leaves on my balls. jk. I only get close to my mothers, most people neglect mother plants so I make sure I dont.. Its hard to keep track of large numbers, so you just end up looking for the signs and symptoms every day during your general scan of the garden. If I was doing DWC or something like that I might get attached a lil my plants. lol. I have kids, so I run on a higher stress load, two mortgages, a truck payment like no other, bills bills, its hard to have peace of mind to enter the looooovvveee for the girls; individually. But I dont think your nutts :) You should see some of the hill billy grows I know know, large houses, boards to walk on to get to rooms etc they are nutts, fucking crazy people. I always imagine hearing a bomb go off one day and know its there places cuz of the craziness in there.
ON the other note, I cant kill a plant unless its harvest time, i give clones away etc... And its better to keep your ppm lower in hydro, so 800 is good and if your plants are struggling or just recovering a bit, keep the ppm down and res around 68 if can.. Only if your CO2 than up your frets and ambient temps.

I once did and remain to.

Once you smoke/consume Hymie and Sandy, they will be one with you and then you get to carry them within your soul until the end of time.

I hear you. I feel bad topping them and what not even tho I no the yield will be much nicer I just feel bad taking the knife to them lol
I try to string down the heads closest to the light and avoid topping but sometimes topping is the most effective and easiest route to take.
