I have 2 16 inch tall, 36 day old plants on Ak-47, wondering if I should top now? 6 nodes tall, need to knw now so i can do it now. thx

without seeing the plant...
4th node from the bottom - round leaves(cotyledons) don't count.
pinch it right off just above the node and eat that nasty little hooker - she loves it - don't be too nice to them or they'll get out of control.
being so short, i might let her keep her head and just bend her over
what i mean is - by topping a plant you create 2 kola buds
by LSTing...
at 6 nodes, you'd have....let's see....ummm carry the three....move that...yeah - 6-11 kolas
drill a hole at the top edge of your bucket - get your self a pipecleanertwisttiesomestringabitofdentalflosssomeopldchewinggum - hell - a STAPLER - gently and kindly pull her over as far as she'll go willingly...push her just a little further...now tie her off.
in a few minutes, hours, or tomorrow, do it again...and again...it'll get good to her pretty soon and she'll bend allllll the way over, almost laying right down
you want to take your mainstem and change it from vertical to horizontal - this will cause your sidebranches to change from horizontal to vertical
now you have 5 kolas instead of 2 - over the next sveral days, your terminal unit will return itself to vertical, giving you a 6th kola
over the next several more days, you will note that some or all of those other 5 branches that pointed at the dirt have begun to pull themselves vertical too
now you've got 7-11 kolas and THEY'RE developing side branches...
or you could just top it.

foot and a half for indica and two for sativa is a general rule however it ultimately depends on how much stretching you got going on
Does it really matter what node i top my plant at.?. I know that if i top it just above the 3rd node then there will be 6 main colas instead of just 1 main cola and some side branches...
So what i'm asking is if i top my plant right above the 6th or 7th node,will i get like 12 or 14 main colas.
Where's the best place or node to top ur plant ...?...
