ok sorry if this has been asked alot....did a search and couldnt find anything....so when is it best to top your plant.....i have heard you are supposed to do it every 3rd node....and this will give you a super bushy plant....everytime you top it then it splits into two branches....is this true....do i do it at the third node and do i do it on every branch....will this just fuck up my plant....also when can you first sex a plant....thanks for the info.....

I top between the second and third colas for four large colas everytime, but thats from seed... From cuttings I top above the third node...
I agree. I topped between my 2nd and 3rd node and I have 2 plants with 4 main colas. Wait til your plant is about 6 nodes high and top at the second true node. On here the method is called Uncle Bens Topping Technique

This is what my plants look like now because I did what it says here, the first one has it's 4 main colas coming up from the middle, the second spread out into 4 individual main quarters:

right on thanks....i can really start to see the growth now too.....checked on it this morning and its starting to look like a bush....one of the leaves is starting to look a little nut burnt....some yellowing on the tips but the soil is also getting dry.....so i watered to see if that will help first as i dont feed it nutes much......
