when they start to smell

do they smell when they start to bud or what?
my last grow was outdoors and they got eaten
now im trying indoors

Yes,

Most of the odor will come from flowering your plants. Most strains do not tend to produce much odor during veg, except for Skunk strains which I believe can smell pretty potent even before flowering.

You got any plans for odor control? What strains are you working on?

im planning on making a ghetto carbon filter
(im 15)
and they are northern lights

Good choice on the northern lights, one of my favs.

A carbon filter should do the job, how many plants you planning on growing?

well what ima do is grow 2 till i figure out their sexs and then if ones a male iwill grow it indoors
if both are male then i will ditch one and plant its somewere outdoors and leave it
see what happends
if both male
i will buy more seeds haha

The carbon filter should be fine for just 2 plants.

haha every time I water mine I pick it up and smell it, didnt start smelling until 2 weeks old.

There is NOTHING! NOTHING! in the WORLD! That smells better then a marijuana plant growing... it smells so sweet and so yummy... omg...
