When to clone?

Anyone got any advice on when would be a good time to consider taking clones?

My plants aren't there yet (3 weeks old on friday - gonna start feeding half strength and cut the light from 24 to 18 next week) they look like bushes at the moment, doesn't look like they've got more than one leaf per branch...

...how many more weeks til I start lopping branches off? Also whereabouts on the plant would be best to take the clones from? (I know you've gotta take full branches and cut most of the foliage/shoots off...)

heh, just 1 stalk can get you multiple clones, most of mine make 4-6 clones per branch. You want to take them when you have enough to make your clones yet still leave enough on the plant to ensure survival.

i had the same question a while back. Just look at a cloning tutorial and after reading it you will be able to just look at your plant and see when the best time is. Also after you do it once you will be like...that was it.. its that easy..

try to do it right before flowering.... or right after if u want....i take mine form the bottom when the branches have 3 nodes atlest or 3 to 4 inches long uknow....water clone em man....

before flowering and make sure u flush the plant a few days before u take clones becuse this will make the plant use all the nitrogen in its leaves.This way the clone has no choice but to grow roots becuse if there nitrogen in its leave the clones will use that first then grow roots just takes long if u dont flush.and folar spraying is a must.If u have any qustions hit me up.
