I currently have four clones been vegging for about a month and a half. Just wondering when I should start flowering

Depending on your strain, they could get about 3-4 feet tall if you start now without topping or training. The longer you wait, the larger they are going to get from there, so spankdizz is correct about your space being an issue.

I just switched to flowering yesterday after 4 weeks in veg, bc I don't really have a lot of space n im not necessarily going for yield, this is my test run...I walked in my room today once lights came back on and omfg it smelled sooooo bad (good:) I didn't think they would smell that much after its first 12/12 cycle holy SHIT

how much space do you have to grow in? your limitations are usually set by the max square feet you can allow your plants to occupy. the footprint that your grow lights provide for is generally a good way to figure out your limitations.

Just wanted to show a up date. Third week of flowering
Nice lookin good man. Question do you have blue or red spectrum bulbs? They look blue, would suggest getting at least one red tube for each ballest. They are about $7-$8 for the 4'

Yes currently I have six T5 lights and two T8 light bulbs. Half of the light bulbs on the 3500 K spectrum. What do u think. Also just giving Tiger bloom nutrients

Note in your second picture that the largest leaves have just recently reached the outside lip of the pot. As roots generally grow out at about the same speed as the larger leaves you can figure that the roots are just filling the pot. That means the plant is still vegging and you have to make a decision as to what kind of plant you want - taller or bushier. Your plants are just reaching the stage where you can expect to see an inch a day in growth. If you flower now the plants will double in height during flowering (called "stretching"). I would leave them vegging another 2 weeks to take advantage of the growth spurt. Reason is that longer veg will force the plant to do more growing sideways (bushier) and you will encourage more growing points (aka bud sites). Also, continued vegging will result in less stretching and you won't have to worry about growing into the light. Remember, going to 12/12 when the plant is in full veg mode makes for taller (usually scrawnier) plants. I would rather have a bushy 5-footer than a scrawny 6-footer.

Works for me, BigSteve.
