When do you know it's the right time to go to 12-12?

you can induce 12/12 anytime but it could potentially stress to plant.
you know its ready when it begins to show preflowers.

k thanks...any idea how long it takes to show pre flowers? I'm sure it probably depends on a multi of factors..everything else does lol...

yeah different strains do different things. but people flower them from seed so i'd think if you had enough plants you could get a few females out of the deal. just depends on how long youre willing to wait.

I have 10 going..almost 2 months old...not really in a hurry just curious...and by the way...where in the world do yall get them avatars at? lol

they might not show up really until flowering, thats when you shall know for sure the sex.

google image search some crazy shit and find a nice pic for your avatar. something that suits you, you know.

I think it usually took me about 2 to 2.5 months till I got them to autoflower on 18, 6.

I just made my plant flower though after a month, it is a quick harvest. This thing is small though and I definately think it wanted to grow some more.
