When to flower?!

The reason the female in the book doesn't look like its bulging, and the male does, is primarily because of the lighting. The female pic is over exposed and appears to be taken with a flash, washing out the shadows. The male pic is a better exposure, and the shadows are more accentuated.
Maybe we could find out if it was male or not it’s been awhile he should know by now

If you look above where you circled on the next node up it looks like a calyx. But seriously what you circled in black is just new growth. Unless I'm missing something. It's the tips of the new leaves coming.

A lot of new leaves forming at the nodes in your growing experience?

6 weeks and not one white hair showing on the nodes and apparent pollen sack formation is clearly visible

I just looked thru all the pics in the thread. It's hard to tell but I'm leaning towards female.
It taking so long to show sex is good. Males usually start showing sex sooner as they need to mature quicker to pollinate the females.

It’s not throwing pollen or anything. What’s the harm in continuing to grow it out to be certain? I’d leave it be til your 100%.
