When to harvest CBD strains?

I have 3 creme & cheese plants finishing their 7th week since the flip. I have 2 that are very funky smelling and 1 that is a blueberry danish smell. I've seen people saying to pull early for best CBD percentage. Like early before they fatten up. I've seen people say to wait for 50/50% clear to cloudy trichomes. Does anyone have any info on this?
I'd like to harvest the 2 funky ones for highest CBD, but I'm harvesting the berry one over a few weeks to watch the changes. The first pic is the berry one. 20200411_163846.jpg20200411_163900.jpg20200411_164151.jpg20200411_164209.jpg20200411_164244.jpg20200411_164256.jpg

I wouldn’t chop them early wether they are CBD or not,,, but that’s just me
I feel this same way. I would love to see some REAL test results. I have only heard people anecdotally say to harvest CBD early, never seen any real results.

Personally I think they harvest them early to minimize the amount of THC that develops in their "CBD hemp" that isn't really hemp its just cannabis breed to have CBD content.

There's a study floating around showing a drop off of CBD if not chopped early enough, also changes the effect more out of the cbd arena and into thc, also could be strain specific. Sample buds. My cbd spliff was pretty good at 8 weeks, she's at 9 now. My pistols are 80% turned and i am shooting for 50/50 clear to cloudy. From what the study showed it's better to be early than late. I am too lazy to track it down, don't bother asking me to produce it, GTS (Google that shit)

Ok your still a ways from harvesting

This is very much what I think is the key point in all this. I've smoked several CBD flowers and oils, and can't speak to any CBD effect what so ever. However if some don't want to get high, and the buds have a THC effect then perhaps it explains some wanting to harvest them earlier.

Someone had asked this same question just a few days ago. (the roll it up search feature is your friend)
There was also discussion on this topic at another forum (AFN) and this is what was concluded.
(For the record, the 'Mark' that's mentioned in the post is Mark from Dinafem)

I missed the 7 Week Flip Comment... I have two Jack Herrer CBD's that are 7 weeks old and Not a Bud Yet. They are tall and look good but nothing yet. (My others are a Cream Cheese and a Gorilla Glue and both have buds. )

I was owner of a Cbd dispensary in the U.K. and we stocked a wide range of flowers, some from Italy some from Switzerland and all below 0.2% thc with lab results provided etc

I’ll see if I have some pics of the buds we used to get, the earlylooking flowers though were usually lower in Cbd than the nice fully developed chunky nugs...

and personally I just prefer a fully developed flower than a half assed airy hairy one lol

Yeah, I didn't like the sound of pull them early. Idk anything about growing, especially for cbd. It's at least reassuring to hear that others don't like the sound of it. But is that right? I sure would like to see numbers to compare. But not if they don't actually correlate to real life.

Take samples and keep notes in the harvest window, then you'll know what stage you want to harvest next time.

Just because it Cbd, dont treat it no different to a high thc strain .I all ways harvest when the heads a milky not to dark ,from the look of those I would say you about 2 week off.The bud structure is no where neat done,so take your time with it .let it dk its thing ,you will get far better results for use medically if you leave it .
