When to harvest seeds

ive talked to a distant friend and have been told to wait until end of harvest to pick a seed i found on my plant that is about halfway threw budding.but it looks like its ready to burst out of its calx!

im losing control and want to pull it early and start to dry it within the next couple days.

debate this pleas!

leave it,it might not be ready yet,usually a week before harvest they should almost fall out by themselves,thats when you collect

ive decided to pick a tiny biut at the top of the calywx and see that it was still green at the tip..was just curios.in she stays!!!
