So mary produces more at night??This is a post that I made a while back. Hope it answers your question: "I read a lot of stuff on harvesting before I cut my first girl down, and here's what I learned. Whether it's nonsense or not, it worked out good for me. Plants do all their work at night after storing up the suns energy all day. All the chemicals and sugars and stuff come out of the roots and travel up into the plant at night. When the sun comes up in the morning, everything goes back into the roots. So I always cut the whole thing down right at the base, and right before the lights come on, trapping all the good stuff in the plant. This makes sense to me because even after you cut it down, the plant doesn't know it's been cut and is still continues to process the sugars and whatever else it does. As for the two days dark, I don't do that. Not saying it works one way or the other, just saying I don't do it. If your trichs are where you want them, cut it down. Good Luck!"
sweet corn is sweetest when picked in the morning... wounder if its the same sorta thingThis is a post that I made a while back. I guess you could say it "produces" more at night, because during the dark cycle I'm pretty sure bud production and THC production is at its peak. I sneak into the room with the lights off and just snip it right at the base AFTER the last dark cycle is almost complete. So mary produces more at night??
Who knows? That could very well be the reason, right?sweet corn is sweetest when picked in the morning... wounder if its the same sorta thing
i'd belive it
