Hello everyone, first time grower and first time posting a thread so go easy if I'm posting in the wrong section or if questions have been answered else where.
Basically I'm coming up to week 9 with the quick one strain (supposedly easy to grow for beginners) hence why I chose this strain, to see results. So this is supposed to be an 8 week strain but as stated sometimes can take 9-10 weeks to finish. I'm basically trying to get a 10 day flush in before harvest and trying to time it right so I'm not too early and impact the swell (if any) and not too late to affect the amber trichomes going too far. 1 or 2 amber trichomes are beginning to be seen on sugar leaves but not on the bud themselves. Some of the pistils are brown and receding back but there is also a lot of white hairs pointing up and out. As I'm trying to do a flush and timed right is there a rule of how many hairs should be brown before doing a flush? Should you start a flush when amber trichomes start to show on sugar leaves? (expecting them to turn on buds 10 days after) or should you only begin a flush when you notice amber on the buds?
My plants have been fed organic nutrients and are in organic compost under a mars hydro ts600 (would totally recommend to the beginner but I have no experience with any other lights). The light schedule is 18/6, no lst which I didn't realise would be helpful but will definitely add that in to my next grow.
Is harvest close based on pictures provided?
Thanks in advance
