When to harvest?

She's in her 5th week of flowering, trying to get a good timeline on when to harvest? Hoping for some good input.

Seed: unknown
Grow method: CFL
Nutes: none, only soil, once in a while maybe a pinch of Blood meal, or Worm casting

My best guess is a normal 3 weeks more, but i wanna see your opinions been a long time since i finished one through and through, usually just sell the plants.

no i don't, i've been using a camera and cropping the picture close to see the trichs and there coloration

Another vote for scope. She looks pretty green and clear.

Closer to harvest most of the 'hairs' fold in. Majority turn brown. At a point to which she's ~mostly~ given up on finding pollen.

Id agree w 4 weeks or month. But real answer is when shes ready... gotta get a scope... scope em, gotta. I had ones once go 12 days longer than her cloned sisters always had gone... y im still unsure but had i chopped via calander wudda missed potential..

Thanks guys, appreciate the input on this.So my time line puts me at the first week of April for harvest kjeepin my fingers crossed. Heard some pheno types may go into a 10th week. Like i said keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the heads up on the scope, started looking through amazon already, is there anything else i might need toward the end of this, just trying to get kinda ready as i can?

To the answer of your question, yes i do have a spider around, every once in a while i find him and move him to the wife indoor plants, then after a while i find him right back where i find him. Also notice his webs which i destroy, i find them after i mist it with pure water just to cool the leaves.

I often do a stagered harvest.. giving those buds on the lower half so more time , plus if the plants are really big , it gives me a break from triming.

Did some reading on staggered harvesting, just can't find any great tutorials to explain on how you do it. I have a feeling that this one might require it, like to make sure I know what I'm doing ya know

Well what I do, right or wrong, is using my scope, look closely at the buds to determine their maturity and at some point you can tell a difference. I stop harvesting and adjust the plant height and wait till they are mature then finish the harvest. If I don't veg long ( clones ) then I harvest all at once.

ok..generally from my reading that I've done, is that you take the top colas and bud sites that are done, leaving the rest to finish for a couple more days or at least a week, then take those, then another couple of days for the smaller ones then finish chop of the rest? Am I close, or do I need to read more.
