What a good humidity reading i put a hygrometer in each jar they been in jars for about 2 hours just checked rh at 57 and 58 on other. What considerred to highI open them often at first. Then do it less and less.
Considering those Bovida packs keep the humidity of the buds at 62% it's already too dry. The cure is in the initial drying and it sounds like you dried too fast and will have green buds that smoke harshly like the sample of Trailer Park Boys bud my friend gave me. Harsh as hell tho the buzz is pleasant. What a good humidity reading i put a hygrometer in each jar they been in hars for about 2 hours just checked rh at 57 and 58 on other. What considerred to high
Dried at 50% rh for three days stems where bendy did not snap so how is it to dry bud was dry to touch but sticky when sqeezed.Considering those Bovida packs keep the humidity of the buds at 62% it's already too dry. That's good. It'll probably continue to rise as the buds stabilize. If the RH is 57-58 now, it should be right around 60 or so after it stabilizes. At least in my case. If the RH drops below 57% in the jar, I throw a Boveda pack in until the jars are stable at 60% which is what I aim for. As long as the RH doesn't drop below around 55% the buds will continue to cure. Once it's stable, I usually take out the Boveda's.What a good humidity reading i put a hygrometer in each jar they been in hars for about 2 hours just checked rh at 57 and 58 on other. What i thought cause it is going up now at 59 and 58That's good. It'll probably continue to rise as the buds stabilize. If the RH is 57-58 now, it should be right around 60 or so after it stabilizes. I would open them once or twice a day to get a little fresh air in and let out some of the offgasses. Then daily for awhile. Sometimes when it's really fresh the jars will actually make an actual burbing kinda sound. You can tell that buds have put off some offgassing. If they are offgassing a lot then burp more.
It's probably gonna be about perfect, but I'd get some Boveda's or Integra packs for next time, just in case. I have really low RH here, so even though I dry in a closet with 55% or so RH, they still need to go in jars in 3-4 days. Then I burp them often, and kinda slow down the dry. I have to burp more this way, but it's what works for me here. What i thought cause it is going up now at 59 and 58
If they feel the same as the last batch then yes jar them up after 3 days. This batch you have jarred now I have a feeling you jarred at the perfect time.I still have a batch that i started drying sat evening rh is 50 sometimes 55% should i jar them tomorrow it will be 3 days tomorrow thats how long these buds dried for
You cannot dry bud in three days, if you jar it now you will have to open often, a few times a day for the next couple of weeks. Three days dry also suggests you might be drying too fast using a fan or heater.Dried at 50% rh for three days stems where bendy did not snap so how is it to dry bud was dry to touch but sticky when sqeezed.
I do have a fan on but not blowing on the budYou cannot dry bud in three days, if you jar it now you will have to open often, a few times a day for the next couple of weeks. Three days dry also suggests you might be drying too fast using a fan or heater.
I use a fan in my drying closet to circulate some air around the buds. I don't have it blowing straight on them though.Should i not have a fan in the room then
That's easy to say by someone from Hawaii, lol. You don't have low RH. I've been there. It's beautiful, but humid. You dried too fast.
