They've popped and are in a sprouting mix, they are JUST starting to emerge from the soil. I've been keeping the plastic sprouting tents on top of my gas stove heater (Waterford heater) that only has it's pilot light on, so it's staying right around 75-80 degrees (barely warm to the touch) on the top of the stove.
In my green house I have two banks of three foot Flourescent lights (2 tubes in each)and two small warming fans I can set up on a timer. What is a safe size to transfer them to my green house? I was thinking of setting the lights for 17 hours of light, not sure about the heater fans??
When I transfer to the ground outdoors in Mid-May we are at 15+ hours daytime hours..Is it safe to give them more than 17 hours (say 18-20) in the greenhouse, then a week before going outdoors just start cutting an hour a day on the timer??
It's nice and warm during the day and into the evening, we've been staying in the low 40's at night, but it can get into the low-mid 30's.
Thanks in adbance for your advice.
