When to scrog an Auto

I've done a lot of looking around and I can't find a clear answer to this question. When should the screen be introduced to an autoflower (when doing scrog)? I know a lot of factors go into this, lights, soil/ hydro, strain etc. but as a general rule of thumb would you guys say veg, preflower or flower?

have you looked into how to scrog ?
its the same as any other plant

just get it spread out and let it spear tip there is no need to lay it all the way down unless you want alot of popcorns then flatten it out

you get the best yields from a scrog EVEN with auto's

Why not? I've seen some pretty impressive results with scrog an auto

I'm kinda scrogging some auto mazars atm, the net is mainly for my photo I'm growing alongside, so it may be a bit tall for the autos. one thing i did notice, just slightly bending their main stems (my photos main stem is almost horizontal, with the autos it was just a slight tilt to fit under a diff section of the net) has resulted in more bud sites/secondary colas shooting up. I'm sure if i.trained from when they were smaller more could have been achieved.....I'd consider starting gently around 3 weeks in

that one was topped and scrogged but i took the scrog off when i started having nute/watering issues
