Hey everybody, when you are trying to tell how long a plant has been flowering do you start counting when you switch to 12/12 or from the time you see pre-flowers.

That's what I thought but I heard that when you switch the lights that it can take a couple of weeks for them to show sex. If they haven't shown sex then they havent started flowering right?
the day you go into 12/12, atleast for me.

That is correct. If you are growing from seed, you won't know the sex until about two weeks into flowering. You would still be two weeks into flowering though, regardless if you knew the sex or not.
