When To Start Using Light?

First time posting & growing - feels like a stupid question but during germination I've understood that there should be as little light as possible... and then during vegetative stage, light is critical (obviously)... so should I flip the switch at this point?

Growing white widow autoflower (from ILGM). The tent is also being shared by another pot with seeds where the taproot started and I planted them but have not sprouted from the soil yet... if I turn the light on for the seedling pictured, do I jeopardize the other seeds?

Thank you!

Yeah turn on the light now! The other seeds will also benefit from the light because it will heat the soil slightly.

Turn on the light to turn it green.
The seed and membrane is still attached. I suggest you mist it with water to soften the membrane and gently remove it with a toothpick or tweezers.
Good luck and welcome.
Noticed this when i was taking that picture... thank you for spotting that, had no idea what tf to do there. Just misted it again (been watering with a spray bottle so far to prevent overwatering), will follow your suggestion on removing the seed and membrane
