Dissenting opinion. Being there to point out where the damage is being done seems to me to be just the right place to be.

The poster cn was replying to has never grown a plant indoors and it's speculative if he's actually grown one outdoors. Cn's just trying to save someone following spurious advice and losing a grow, that's all. Most newbies start growing on a shoestring budget so the loss of initial seeds etc... can stop one from growing entirely.
