when to stop topping?

well thats what i was thinking also but i see other people talking about if they get to tall to top them but wouldnt that just get rid of the top bud sites? as i thought in flower they focus on the bud sites already there?? idk im new so i just dont know lol

just type "topping tutorial" into youtube. I'm new to growing too, but that kind of stuff is easy to seek out, either in YT or using the search function in the top right corner of this page.

Reminds me of Morticia Addams cutting off all the top blooms of her roses. IMO, top early in veg, then let her flower no stress. 3x gives you 8 new tops. I'd stop at 3 during veg. I've seen mainlining with 16 tops, but don't know the results. Are the colas shorter? :peace:

id say 1 week in is the latest id top. this gives roughly another week of stretch to setup the new bud-structure to be. Any later and you are not getting any of the positives. i take minimal plant material off at this time to avoid removal of budsites. usually just a pinch of thumb and finger to the growthtip :)
