When to stop watering

I have some Grand Daddy Purple thats nearly ready and being flushed since last friday. I was wondering if it is best to cut them off from water at some point, i will continue giving them 12/12 untill they are ready. Also, should i chop them before the lights turn on? or when they have been on a while, or does it matter?

PS id say they are less than a week till ready.

Thanks

I would say just keep up with the same watering schedule you normally have and chop when ready. I have always read to chop before the lights come on so that is what I do.Some keep in darkness for a day or 2 or more. I dont.
I am sure others will chime in here.

toss up some pics man. love to see it

I flush 14 days before chop (of course if it's your first run of a strain you can only guess at what 14 days from chop would be). I quit watering on day 10/11 of flush and on day 14 I go 2 days into dark than chop.

So if i were to not do the dark thing (no disrespect) do you think i should still cut off the water a couple days before they are ready? May get pretty dry with lights on and no water.

Yes, but only you know your plants so my 3 days (under a very cool light) might be a 2 day period for you. The idea behind this is that you reduce drying time, if that is not something you care about than flush up until chop, your end product will be the same either way. Basically I water every other day, I go an extra day without water before cut and my plants do dry faster in the drying room. I did a side by side watering a few up until chop and not watering the rest and I like the results it dries 1 -2 days faster when done this way, depending on the strain.
