When to switch to flower?

Thinking of flipping to 12/12 in week 6 of veg using cana a b in soil. Ph at 6.5. how are they looking should I defoliate then leave to recover for a thew day before 12/12

I'd switch ASAP and why the hell would you want to defoliate just before causing a huge growth spurt thru stretch? Dose them good with veg and bloom nutes a week before flipping and add extra light if you got it. Burn a candle in there for extra CO2 while they stretch and stand back.

Those will be huge so I wouldn't wait long.

Are you planning to tie down the grow tips to the net like a real ScroG or just have them standing up in the holes like most do? If tying down to run a real ScroG then you don't want to start 12/12 until the net is mostly full of horizontally growing branches with side branches also tied down.

If just using the net to keep colas from falling over then place it at least a foot above the top buds or you'll be needing a 2nd net later when they get too high above the first.

Those plants will likely double in height so be prepared.

They look ready to me in that space. Canna's recommended PH is 5.8-6.2 btw.. 6.5 is too high.
