when to top plant?

im in my first grow and am wondering if i should top these plants or let it be. im gonna flower at around 12'' theyre at around 8'' now. thanks for any answers

I usually top after the 4th or 5th node...

dont top. It takes away the main bud. But if your key on topping do it two weeks in flowering or two weeks before. depends on veg times
