When to transplant

Hey guys i just picked up some Purple Kush clones today and I was wondering when the best time to transplant them into bigger pots would be? Ive never worked with clones before always from seed;
The clones are about 4-5 inches high with 3-4 nodes.
Roots are established in small sections of peat moss pods
They are under a single 26w full spectrum grow CFL 24/0
Room temp is around 26 C
They will be transplanted into 3 gallon pots with sunshine #4

ok if you dont want the sun to stress them to death you need to increase your lights. a single cfl is not enough. get three cfl's per clone or as close as you can get to that. then you want to put a fan on it to help strengthen the stalks. then you want to change your light schedule to 18/6 or 20/4 dark time is when the roots grow. anyways you will strengthen your roots if you give it a little bit of dark time. when the weather gets over 70 degrees soon you can start bringing them outside. bring them out in the sunlight in the morning and see how they react to it. i had to introduce my plants when i used cfls to the sun too cuz the cfls have no radiant heat and the sun does so it can screw them up if you do it when its too hot outside. so just make sure its in the morning

im assuming that they are in gallon pots now. i would wait till they get close to a foot tall before transplanting them that way you know for sure they wont stress. but if they are in cups or something small you nee to transplant them now

If your roots are visible, sticking out abput 1/8 to 1/4 inch there ready. You should be able to tell by looking, do the roots look crowded? Also you can go straight to 3 gals wth no problems at all, but if you transfer to 1 gals. First then before there rootbound but when they just start to swirl round the outside transfer again, you will have a much more compacted root ball and it will slow down on swirling in the 3 gal. Pot.

Also transplant right before lights out if possible so they have all night to recover and keep on the perimeter of the garden for a few days or in filtered light.

I know your running 24/0 but are you switching to 18/6? If your staying at 24/0 then at least give them 6 hours dark the night of the transplant then resume 24/0. Personally I prefer 18/6. Everything needs to sleep (once it has roots)

Thanks, I'm planning on grabbing another CFL or a T5 I just rebuilt my veg cab so its a little testy at the moment. Im planning on flowering them with a 400W HPS. this will be my 4th grow so far and Im starting to get some great results considering the space I have available to me. i think ill put the clones on an 18\6 cycle right before I transplant them tmro morning. and ill grab another 26W tmro some time
