When to transplant?

Sorry, but you should never water everyday. In a one gallon pot, 1/4 of water could be used every 4-5 days. Depending on how fast the soil drys out.

You really shouldn't water more than twice a week. Even at the end of flowering, If they are in the proper size pot, you can water twice a week.
hmm..do you think this will promote better growth? i water the least amount so they drink it in one day. its more work, but i like it

it doesnt burn your roots or cause a lockout? it will eventually..even with organics.

chemical nutes suggest every 3-4 weeks.

organic nutes suggest every 8-10 weeks.

then they have those new unnecessary feeding schedule ones that just make you waste your money becuase they sell you watered down product. get a real concentration feed, not a 10 part .0000000001 feed.

nope never and that 3-4 weeks is bull shit yet again hydro growers give there plants feed day in day out so the 3-4 weeks is epic shit

i have never once had an issue with my plants with nutes lock out over nutes

here is some pics to back what i say i can provide evidence bmeat you provide fiction

Do any of them seem nute lock out? no nutes burn ermmmm NOOOOO

see i read books and find facts i try thinks what some people wont but i have yet to this day to loose a plant from over feeding or under feeding my soil drys out in 2-3 days as i add a fuck loads of perlite for air
i cannot say for organics as ive never tried it but this is my findings with chemical growing

fair enough. i think its time to start soaking my pots and letting them sit. theyre getting big enough to handle it now.

and i guess we can say that feeding is up to the farmer, just be careful.

its different in hydro, you cant compare apples to oranges. they need to add nutes becuase water has a none to a minute amount. even then, its not a high concentration, its diluted in a lot of water.

organic promote the biota or soil life, so you need a lot less nutes.

chemical nutes kill soil biota, so you need to supplement more frequently. still, more than once a week is way overkill in my opinion.

You adjust the amount of nutes, to the amount of water you are using. Also, if you plan on nuting every watering, divide the nutes by the amount of watering in a week.

Example: Bag says 1 tsp per feed

2 waterings a week = .5 tsp feed per watering.

Well you opinion Dosent mean much to me as you haven't got any experience from growing to pass on se the differance between you and me is when i joined i was a lil punk who new nothing but after listening to the guys off here they helped me grow some amazing plants and now i can help others with some of the stuff i know and have learnt
if an experienced grower told me not to i would then maybe take note but as i have NEVER had any problems i will not stop

iv always fed either half strength or full strength they always grew fine I use organics

resonable enough. ive just noticed that my plants dont show me any paleness for like two months when making a super soil.

i fed for the first time last night at the one month old interval, just becuase. they werent showing any deficiencies, but i said fuck it

also trained my tall phenotype.

biota doesn't mean what you think it means bmeat.

I think you mean microorganisms.

biota=The combined flora and fauna of a region

microorganisms= very tiny one-celled organisms, viruses, fungi, and bacteria

the soils biota is the soil life, the microorganisms living in the soil.

humans also have a biota system, but we call it flora.

its the living systems immune system

no.

Flora
is the plant life occurring in a particular region or time

Fauna is all of the animal life of any particular region or time

i was saying human flora is just like soil biota. youre speaking in a more generalized sense.

"Soil life, soil biota, or edaphon is a collective term for all the organisms living within the soil. These organisms include earthworms, nematodes, protozoa, fungi, bacteria and different arthropods. Soil biology plays a vital role in determining many soil characteristics yet, being a relatively new science, much remains unknown about soil biology and about how the nature of soil is affected."

"Flora, fauna and other forms of life such as fungi are collectively referred to as biota."

in humans, theres skin flora, gut flora, eye flora.

biota and flora are one in the same, were really talking about the same thing, the organisms that keep life moving.

bmeat what about soil less mixes they have no soil so no biota?
thats why you have to treat it like a hydro grow.

i was planning on taking coco, and mixing compost in with it to create biota. but since i got some free soil, im gonna use this up first. its like 50% peat moss. really nice stuff

Alright..it just seems a weird term to use.

Plus not all of the life in soil is good for plants. =)
exactly! thats why we want to keep the good organisms healthy, so the bad ones dont take over!

the willow acid/hormone that i made kills bad fungi and bacteria, and then promotes growth with the hormone.
