They are not 100% female. I think Jeff Goldblum said it best when he said, "Nature finds a way." I've had 2 of the freebie feminized seeds turn hermie on me on different grows. Could have been grower error, but my other plants did fine.

It seems like most breeders are pumping out feminized seeds now though. Feminized seeds are convenient for sure, but I don't think they're better.

I've ordered or got fem seeds on several occasions and they all turned out to be hookers. I do prefer to get regular seeds and take my chances. :hump:

I've always had good luck with fem seeds. 1 or 2 hermies over 6 or 8 grows, so that's pretty damn good. Ideally, I'd rather go with regular seeds but right now I'm not in an ideal set up so I can't afford the time or space to deal with males. That's why fem seeds are the way to go for me.

I work only with feminized seeds due to the fact that i only have one grow room. its been about 4 or 5 years since i switched to feminized seeds and to this day i yet have to experience a hermie. A lot of folks say that feminized seeds are easy to turn hermie with a little stress, i disagree. Dont let those comments scare you away from trying feminized seeds. treat them nice and you be just fine......

female seeds are more likely to b female plants, iv always had female seeds and never had any hermie on me, so my preference is definitely female seeds. normal seeds tend to be bout 50/50 ratio m8.

If they guarantee 100% female, then hold them to it. However, I think you ought to have realistic expectations, and realize they are gonna be MOSTLY female. Everything I have read says "a higher female" ratio. Whether or not they'll hermie or have a greater propensity to do so is the debate for another topic. I, personally, don't believe they will but I have never grown a fem seed either.
