i've just come back from the local plant nursery and come to realize its got good soil, but i still like the ingredients in fox farm. when in the world is FF going to open a local on the east so its cheaper to get it? is there a reason they stay in CA. these guys have to get paid a shit ton of money for what they are doing.

you should be able to make your own version without breaking bank~ lots of soil recipes on the net that is as good as FF

agreed, still every so often i like to support my local plant shops, especially this one not 10 minutes up the street, so many plants!! and so little space.

try giving them a call, maybe they have businesses carrying their brand (east coast)

if they aren't --they should, how hard is it to package soil & ship it out (rhetorical)

Do you have any Ace Hardware's around you? That is the only place that carries it around here. And you could say I'm easterly. :eyesmoke:

Maybe their product is a product of their location?
I'm in the east and have a few places to get their soil. I also am a regular at the local nurseries that carry comperable soils for less. There's more than one an organic farm 40 minutes away that sell their manure. After being here a few years (RIU) I am either very fortunate with my location or just able to look for and find the resources I need. Buy Local if you can.

been looking, there is a shop 30 minutes away, but the one problem is is that its cost 50-75 dollars for 2 cubic feet of fox farm happy frog. they charge the price for the soil, then the price is cost to ship each. this is the reason i started to ask in the first place. i bought from them once and never again.

GD.. why FF!? wwwhhhhyyy... /slitwrist

honestly.. GMO is still a good science (if done properly and keeping ethical standards as rule of thumb), but not under those morons.. :leaf:
Well yes GMO can be a good thing, in a sense. But idk about you but I'm not down with putting anything into my body that can cause cancer.

And nothing is good under the supervision of Monsanto!!!

They are buying up everything! Have you seen the list of shit to avoid from them?

Haha ya Monsanto has taken GMO to a whole new level and made it the Frankenstein of genetics.

I think the monsanto rumor about owning ff is just that. The CEO of scotts mentioned them in an article and thats what led to the speculation. The only evidence of Monsanto owning FF is MJ forums speculating. FF came oit on their facebook page and stated they are still family owned. This was last year when the rumors started to circulate after the article about miracle grow expanding into medical mj markets. Reason being they were seeing their products in use when busts were happeneing on the dispensaries. For the record I use Roots and Coast of Maine products.
