when will my plant bud

ok so i've been throwing a garbage can over my one plant for about a week now. I was wondering when should i start to see signs of white hairs or budding. When i throw the garbage can over i throw a few bricks on it and i make sure it is light tight. All you can see is the little pistils that have been there since the vegetation stage. Does anyone know when i should start to see buds?

You dont need to and you shouldnt force it to flowerthat way at this point of the grow, we are in the end of july, within a week or 2 they will flower naturally and be alot bigger cuz they get more light. the days started getting shorter june 21st, thats all you need. Your hurting more than helping at this point.

Don't think so, if it's only been a week. Like the others said, the days are getting shorter now so the plant will know it needs to start flowering.
