[SUP]I am growing og kush, sour kush, bubba kush and diesel outdoor. I live near Vancouver bc canada. I was wondering when they will start to flower? Sunset chart says sunlight is 12 12 end of september but my plants are in a shady area and get about 8 hours of direct light right now or so. If they flower end of September I should try and force them to flower? Because I think it gets to cold in November here for them to live? Any help Thanku![/SUP]

Yes you should force flower, because of it flowers naturally it will be so late that frost damage will occur before flowing.

hey man bc is the best place for growin you should be fine i have lots of growin buddies there as long as you dont get a hard frost, you will be fine they should start to flower within the next couple weeks some of the best smoke i ever had came from bc i work there also every year and if you have another fall like last year your set!!
i live more north then you but mine are just starting to show signs of flowring now no white hairs yet but can see small calexs poping out, my males already showed there balls but the females seem to take longer..

I don't believe so.
Mine did... kept mine under an awning getting less then 4 hours FULL sun and about 4 indirect. Only 2 outta all are not in flower and they were planted after 4-12 rest was in on 2-18

but honestly... I kept track of where the sun was hitting last year and where is would be at certain hours.. could be the pot.. but it's off about 5 feet or so.. hell maybe it just naturally moves that way and I did not notice till I started watching..

Thought that could have explain the freaking awesome summer we have had too... not been over 100 here for more then a week at a time. Moved here in 88 and Lived at Lemoore NAS I swear it was hell to me moving from CT. Summers here then were normally 110 for weeks...

Gonna be 100 all week bro......my plants are rootbound too :wall:
But as for the shade making them flower.......I'm not sure about that......a couple of my plants have been flowering since late last month and they get full sun from around 9am-6pm(I think). Maybe I will try it next year and see what the outcome of me putting it into shade will be

I'm in your neck of the woods, mine started to flower last week. It should be anytime now if not already... Look closely at the upper nodes I'd bet you are at least showing pre-flowers.
