Well folks it looks like a tie between mike420 and rolli, they both guessed correctly.

Rosey, I couldn't find your guess in this thread, so you'll have to back up your claim by locating and quoting your guess. I'm sorry, I know it was your birthday and all, but rules are rules. I'm not certain that guesses outside this thread officially count. ;) I'll have to run anything you come up with while researching your claim by the judges if you want it to be a 3 way with rolli and mike 420.

@qwizoking prize monies won't be divided up until rosey gets a chance to do her homework.
Actually I don't have to back up anything because I never entered any contest..lol I was referring to a conversation she and I had over PM a while back when I found out she was preggars and I'd said something about maybe she'd have the baby on my birthday since she was due near early May. I just wanted to check in and see how she was doing and if the birth went well, it being her first and all. That's the most exhilarating experience a woman can have, takes a lot out of ya!

But hey, if I did win something, that would be super awesome! :

:peace:

Ahhh...I'm going to have a challenge review of the call. You can't pick the 4th ON the 4th, you can't pick the 4th AND the 9th, AND it was Cinco de Mayo SOMEWHERE on the earth when he was born. And if that doesn't work, I think they should be checked for PED's and HGH. I smell steroids! View attachment 3675255
Mike420 guessed correctly after he changed his first vote, so he's ok. You and hookabelly tied for second place. Are you saying rolli snuck his vote in at the last second? I'll have the judges further investigate this matter.

I guarantee you that your dog will be very protective of the little one, especially since I'm sure he understands how much you love and care for her. Dogs are good like that, especially boy dogs :)
Before I had to have him put down due to health reasons I had a Staffordshire terrier. We could lay my first born on a blanket in the floor and the dog would curl up beside her and protect her. If the baby got upset the dog would. One get me.

I don't think we did it right away. It was at the point when you put babies on the floor on a blanket and let them try to roll and move around.

I have a 75 pound American blue nose pit bull, he absolutely loves small children. He'll go up to them (babies, 1-2 year old) sniff, let them touch him, and then curl up next to them. He's even let the little cholos pull his tail, he gets upsets but he doesn't snap, he'll look at me like why is this pinche niño touching me? Oh well and then go to sleep

No doubt. Pits, Staffordshires, and dogs like them are not bad dogs. Its bad owners.

Kids could jump, bounce, poke, pull, shove, anything they wanted. He never even growled at them. He was very protective over my kids.

Yeah. I've taught my perro nothing but love. He has nothing but love for anything. Even if you're mean to him he can't not love you, I'd be mad if you were mean but it won't change his temperament, everyone everywhere is meant to be his friend. I love when there are young children or babies around him, everyone is SHOCKED that a "big bully breed" like him is gentle and loving

awwwsss :) when my grandson was born and I was babysitting, I'd put him in his carrier seat beside me on the floor and my dog Marley (he was a Shar pei/Lab mix) would curl up and sleep beside him. If he gooed or gahd, Marley would sniff his face and lick his little head like he was trying to console him. Sweetest. Thing. Ever..:D

Funny yall say this.
My german shep doberman mix used to be the sweetest girl ever. I mean she still is but takes much less shit from anyone but me lol.

Ill take her to the park and She's bit, well you know little nibbles never broke skin. Little kids, like 3yr olds on up. Started at like 9yrs old and getting worse, i guess getting cranky.
Shes still pretty great with actual babies and real youngins, just like wtf and looks at me if they mess with her. But once they get to walkin good they just little people to her lol.
But she was also more of a guard dog on my property..a great one at that.
My girl on occasion:) gets mad at me. When her tone changes or the slightest decibel increase she comes running. And definitely dont tickle me! Your gonna get a love bite

Maybe im just a terrible owner though the past couple years and shouldn't blame age...i can see that too

The nipping is a natural response. Its the way a mother dog weens puppies or both sexes of dogs get puppies to leave them alone.

I would still try to break it but its not a sign of aggression.
