So I am procrastination man. I wait to long every time to clone and well this time the longest.
This round I waited till the 4 day after harvest began on a 50 day finishing strain. Yes, cloned after harvest. Mites were on plants. They were all budding and or had hairs even on the lowest cuttings. This is not how I would advise beginners to work but I can say if you can do it you know your stuff.
How you may ask and or how long does it take to see new growth and or roots. Glad you asked. In 12 days I had good root show and after 3 weeks new, even if odd looking growth. If you can get sick, very late plants to clone you have it down. One thing I strongly believe in and what works best is to ignore the people that say not to fert early clones. At 6 to 10 days you should always have a weak nute solution in your clone tank. Yes this is hydro and would not know how to do it in dirt but let me assure you it will bring your plants up to speed much quicker if you nute early. You can even nute by day 4 but as before remember to go light. They now make a new product that is for clones from day one that basically just weak nutes for you to add. It is a gimmick but if you look or ask for the stuff and read the label you can skip buying it and just use your normal nutes per the %'s on the stuff. Good luck and remember I am the god of clones and finish flowering. My ladies are able to be vaped in less than 30 days in flower and well if you don't know it yet vape the product and even green, wet, just cut no dry flowers taste great. I grow a sativa dominant strain that is 22.% thc and done in really a bit less than 50 days. Then after I take the tops I slowly harvest the lesser buds and let them mature a bit longer. I had many strains that took at least 70 days to finish and then could have gone longer really so I would recommend getting these two that I now use because well they are so strong and easy you will never ever look back. LOL.. Hate on me please. But know I am your neighbor.. TaTa..
