Woohoo! I'm hoping this very green and seemingly very happy American Kush auto will be smokeable by Christmas!

Hi all, I'm a new grower in Northern Virginia that would love to swap grow samples and just hang out and chat about growing. Anyone up to forming a little Northern Va growers club?

I have Durban Poison (3 months into cure) and Northern lights (8 months into cure) samples to pass around. Join me for some coffee and I'll bring a few tasty buds!

Why are there so many growers in Virginia and Michigan specifically? I always see people from these states in cannabis forums. Also states like Oklahoma and Massachusetts have their fair share of cannabis enthusiasts. Its fascinating that these locales have so much cannabis growers. Usually when you think of weed growing places you think of California, Colorado, Oregon, even Maine. What gives!?

Legalization in these states has brought out a willingness to talk about it out in the open like there wasn't before. Lot's of people have been growing since long before it was legal but most just didn't go online and talk about it with pictures. VA has always had good weed growers, they just stayed underground to avoid the stiff legal penalties. Now anybody that can afford a tent is calling themselves expert growers and starting Youtube channels. It's been funny to watch the change in attitudes over the last several years. I used to have my wife drop me off a couple blocks away from the hydro shop because I didn't want them to catch my license plate if they had cops watching the place. Now I just park out front and even pay with debit cards intsead of the old cash only stuff I used to worry about. It's a strange new world here but being legal is a very nice feeling.
