where can I buy a 600 watt lights? good systems on ebay?

are there any good 600 watt lights on e bay? i see a few in the 200-270 range - complete system with digital ballast, hood, lights, etc.

What do you guys think of these? Any of them you recommend?

no you want mgs supply on eBay. You can get a 600 watt lumatek or for 20 cheaper a quantum for that price. I got my luma, they got the hood and bulbs.

ya cuz they come with electonic ballasts i would recommend htgsupply, best prices for the best qaulity, i got a 600 watt hps, digital ballast, bulb, socket, and hood for 200 dolloesplus shipping, u dont want an electricl ballast didgitl is smaller quiter,more effiecaint, and all around better to have

HTGsupply rocks. i run their 600 watter (bought on Ebay) and have had no probs at all, pluss most places are considerably higher on price. But, shop around -- there are a LOT of different sources out there. Me? I'll stick with HTG.

You are confused. Digital is the same thing as electronic. What you are talking about is a Magnetic Ballast.

MSG has good deals on ebay, that's where I got mine.

i meant magnetic and yes they do use more energy they are heavy and loud and get hot electronic doesnt

there is not one comparison to what a digital can do compared to a magentic. I was a skeptic that 30 percent was a real figure when lumatek biasts they can beat mag by. But when I plugged in my lumatek it really was 30 percent brighter than the previous samwe watt same bulb magnetic that was in there that day. I was stunned! 30 is a bigger number than I knew. I run them hard and have no probs. Once in a while on a hot start I get a few probs that I got to wait on. But that is my fault for unplugging the light by mistake and jamming the plug back in. No bulb blows, no broken ballasts, several lumateks from msg lupply on eBay. They do got the best deals on real qualtiy ballasts with five year warantys. HTG ballasts I would not trust at all. I have heard so many horror stories and then that one tale I just heard that they ratted out a dude for buying lights and it ended uo being regualr tomatoes. MSG or MGS whatever has the best quality deal. I shopped hard for weeks to find this. Either that or craigs list.
