where can i buy single 400w horiz CMH bulbs?

so each one i order is one single bulb or a whole case?

single bulb for a little over 51 a piece. Cheaper than buying "grow" bulbs....Thats with shipping. Bulbs are 41ish a piece.
Now i see that your kinda SOL though....they don't have the horizontal ones...only vertical...hmmm

Oh, just fyi for anyone interested, (remember this is subjective)with the bulb having been on for 30 minutes or so, i can still touch/hold the end of it. It is HOT anywhere near the middle though. And the light is so "white" that it'll make you see spots for a while. ...shoulda wore sun glasses. Just remember reading a post somewhere on here once, where someone claimed you could hold the bulb while running, not so sure about that...However, if it were a HPS or regular MH bulb, there would be no touching it at all anywhere, or instant burn...

not sure if this holds true for CMH but it is not a good idea to touch the bulbs, oil from your fingers shorten the life of a bulb

i deal with A LOT of HID lighting w/my real career. Never noticed a correlation of shortened bulb life if you touch them once or twice. Car halogen headlights being the exception (they burn out fast if you touch them). I have to say that i generally keep my hands "clean" when touching bulbs also. Clean being a relative term
