Where can you find top quality genetics in Mich?

does this come with a free cup of mites
Funny that you say that but their are times when people actually think they can bring those in when we check them thoroughly. Genetics are hit and miss up here, seeds are for the more experienced grower. A lot of people fail at seeds. I see it everyday but if you wanna jump out there and give it a try be prepared to fork out some dough cause some seeds ain't cheap

really? Failing at seeds? its the one part of growing pot that is just like all other plants-I'd say the exact oposite; people do the seeds well but mess up from true leaves on in the life cycle. Pure Michigan Genetics is selling their seeds at 20 for a 2 pack of F1. I thought to roll the dice you can't beat that. I got 4 packs of different crosses, the journal has begun so we shall see what they are sowing out there at PMG

A lot of people fail at picking seeds. They tend to believe the hype and buy from some dillhole with a bunch of pollen chucked shit. If you want to research, seeds are more fun than clone, lots of companies with great genes, some that even visit your G3C. Another problem with seeds is the "single seed", I've seen so many reviews on one pheno. All beans have brothers and sisters, sure some traits are the same, but you may get some freaks too. If you want to find good seed look for the grow reports where someone starts a whole pack or so and you can see what the possibilities really are. Also look at who writes the report, is there grow clean, are they making obvious mistakes, what else are they fucking up. All these things should help you decide if the reviewer even know shit!

Oh.... and seeds are a little bit of an investment to start with. Not much. Tons of awesome strains for 100 a pack or less! I am still using clones from packs of seeds many years old. I make my original money back just on the bottom half of one plant, 1000's of times!

So well said

PMG "pure michigan genetics"... Corey is that you? Nice!! Two packs... as in two per pack for micro runs? I still like 5 packs, but only germ one er two beans of a bunch of varieties. Monogamy isn't a part of my bean game.

what part of michigan are you moving to?

I going to start my home search in the towns surrounding Flint and go from there. I saw some
good prices in the Saginaw area but, know nothing of the towns. I wish I had the money for Ann Arbor.
Any suggestions on cool, affordable areas? I have no ties to MI, I am just looking for good towns
with houses under 25k . Any feed back would be appreciated

You can afford Ypsilanti right next to Ann Arbor (A2). Lansing isn't too bad and affordable. That's where I got my start.

I am not part of PMG aside from the test grow I'm doing but the boys are good friends and local guys. I have thought about it getting into the breeding thing for a while and I have a good catalog of genes for a little guy doing a 2K watt flower room. Full disclosure-I have been offered a spot in the start-up so maybe I'm bias. yeah, it's 2 seeds a pack. I like the ideas of michigan stuff for michigan people (not original at all but I hate sending cali and spain my $$$) and the low price on small packs. 100$ packs I EXPECT great genes 20$ is a lotto ticket for me. we'll see how the test run goes..... I have dropped 200$ on a seed order of all fails, males, weak genes and a t-shirt before.

Thanks man. I checked Ypsilanti last month and only found 2 or 3 houses that fit my criteria. Now there are at least 10. Thanks, I am very glad
I rechecked.

If one does not take the time to learn to grow seeds they are missing out on a very important part of the growers experience in my opinion .. Clones come and go but seeds last a very long time if stored properly .

I think starting from seed is something that every growers should have experience with , A deeper understanding will flow as well if they grow out a diversity of genetics ..

Then there is the Vigorous growth with seeds that is often not found in older cuts and this can really work to ones advantage as well when learning to grow ..

So what if you get 10, 2 packs that all suck? Another $200 down the drain. You're paying the exact same price for the seeds, just getting less of the seeds to try in a 2 pack... $10 a seed is pretty expensive.

Most of the cost honestly is in the amount of hands it passes through to the average consumer. Most seeds ordered go through at least 2 middlemen from the breeders hands. So that price basically sets a retail price across the board. Packaging is pricy but there are ways to do fancy packaging afforably. The real tax is the 25-100% price increase per set of hands they go through.

Good info, I heard sub say one time that a breeder makes a 1$ per seed. I don't believe sub as a rule of thumb for life, you think that's accurate though?

Not accurate at all. It more like $2.50-4, depending on the breeder and their distribution line. Maybe a bit less including the cost of packaging. Definitely more than $1 per seed though.

A buck a seed is an understatement but TGA does ship a large amount out overseas and this may factor into the profits , $40,000 min for a shipment of beans overseas is not bad at all when ones thinks about it regardless of bean itemization

We shall see slumdog, I studded my boy out to a 6 year old bitch in Chicago last weekend n maybe they tie couple more times tomorrow , she has never been bred but the owner tried twice..she could be sterile ...let ya know in a month or so..if she takes I get half the litter ..I opted for pups instead of stud fee..think I'm gonna keep one.

I don't really see $10 per seed being expensive when we're talking about a 2 pack. Just like anything else in this game the unit cost goes up when you're buying smaller quantities. Its like when a club sells flowers for $20 a gram but $325 for a full zip, which breaks less than $12 per gram since you're buying in bulk.

With that said, its my opinion that PMG should lower their price to something like $8 per seed when they're being sold in quantities of 10 or so...

Ppl wld buy two pks.. but feminized seeds wld be popular w the low numbers. 10$ wld be fair.
A regular 5 pk better have one or two decent female plants. plastic bag and lil sticker costs nothing, like bodhi.
proven genetics beans r easily worth twice the soso stuff.
