1. curing in jars takes longer than 3 days, 1-2 weeks at the most to see any results.

2. did you flush 2 weeks before harvesting, with pure PH water, no nutes? if not this could lead to your buds holding in too much nutes, which wouldve been burned off through flushing.
if you dont flush, you could end up with the problem youre having your buds not smelling as good as they potentially could and the taste will not be as great either..

3. from the amount of nutes your using, flushing is probably needed so 3, you need to do step number 2 if you havent, if you did that.. or cure longer, not 3 days.

Ok thanks. I have been growing in 10ltr pots, light mix soil with perlite. I was unsure how to flush. Also the plants were huge and floppy so couldnt carry to bathroom to drench?? Is that what a should have done? Over the bath?? The weed smells good until lit. Then nothing. Im so upset. Is there anything i can do now~?/

I stopped using nutes etc seven weeks into flowering and was just using tap water (ph8) and mollasses for the last week. I know i need to cure for more, i just cant see it getting any better?: Am i wrong?

Yes, you are. The taste will improve when the buds are cured, and properly dry. If your buds are still spongy, then they're still curing. They may be a bit too moist, but I can't tell you that from where I'm sitting.

you shouldnt flush any longer than 2 weeks, just feed them nothing but PH water for the last 2 weeks of flowering, causes the plant to force use all left nutrients and built up salts.
as far as saving it at this point i cant say, if anything id stop trying to smoke it and cure it for at least 1 solid week, if you can go 2 than all the better the longer the cure the smoother and less harsh it should be.

1 month cure is recommended but most get so impatient and cant wait.

most peeps i know would maim for scentless/tasteless buds that looked otherwise normal and still mugged ya...but we are mostly nut jobs i think

i have another question regarding this thread... next time when i flush for two weeks, can someone explain exactly how, and considering the packaging is rarely right(apparently) on the flowring time. when do i start? how much ph water? do i carry the girls one by one to the bathroom for drenching?? on top of the bathtub?? or just water with ph water every two days?? until estimated flower time (pack normally says 8 weeks).
and yes chubbysoap, i want it stinking!!!!

that's a whole can of worms right there...o_O

opinions vary...the only way to tell for one's self is to do all of the above
...including not flushing them and doing what may be deemed by others as a 'painfully long' and 'unnecessary' drying and curing.

look on youtube for videos on flushing soil, i run hydro so all i have to do is change my res to normal PH water, yes also make sure you burp the jars, leaving them open for 2-5 minutes for 2-3 times a day for the first week, then you can burp less often after just once a week.

in your case seems risky to be moving them during flowering, you should just feed them PH water only for the last 2 weeks of flowering, its not so complicated. there are other methods but for you i know moving plants during flowering isnt good and could hurt your yield if something goes wrong.

Really? I didn't think of this....every time I feed/water they get picked up and moved to the next room in the bathtub. So next grow just figure a way to feed them in the grow cab? Looks like I need some trays for my containers.

for sure, its always best to leave them alone as much as possible during flowering to insure the highest yield without any interruption, sudden moves, which i used to do also taking to the bathroom, i noticed always stressed my plants, especially since the lighting outside my tent is not nearly as bright, the movement, the light change, all the shaking can really effect it, when some plants start to get really heavy buds you can easily damage roots by moving them, god forbid you bump into something or drop them, just not worth it. any type of stress will cause the plant to slow down in growth, so once flowering i stopped moving it noticing much better results.

you want to make sure whatever medium your using to grow with though will be able to stay fluent and clean throughout the months of flowering without you moving it, just make sure to clean things up that you think will get nasty over time and its pretty simple, i enjoy it much more, moving all my plants was always a huge pain to me and i was always worried about them stressing out so i always busted my ass making sure they werent out of the tent long, so leaving them alone and maintaining the nutrients from inside is so much better.. gives me time to do whatever i need to without the worry of oh god i need to get them back under the light in the tent every second.

when i flush before harvest i take all of my plants out of my tent and set them in the tub on top of another container to allow water to run off. ill run 6 gallons of water with clearex than an aditional 4 gallons of plain water. when your at the point of flushing your plants you dont have to worry about stress anymore. i usially flush late in week 8 or earlie in week 9.

this is the other method i was describing where you can flush faster than feeding your plant water for 2 weeks, if you have a drain that is easily accesible, glad you said this cause i couldnt really describe it.

It bears mentioning here what people mean by pre-harvest flushing. It does not mean flushing gallons and gallons of water through your plants, which is an extreme measure one might take in the case of a severe inbalance, etc. It means stopping all nutes and watering with H2O only. I know I'm stating the obvious for some people, but none of us knew the difference till we knew the difference :)
