This is my plan this year. I would like to start preserving seeds for trading/selling. It would be nice to not have to buy seeds each year. That shit gets expensive. LolI like Baker Creek a lot. Also look up preserving your own veggie seeds-I haven’t bought tomato seeds in years

This. 2 years ago I started a heirloom tomato plant by burying a slice of tomato from one of the tomatoes I purchased from the farmers stand.Probably doesn't help for this year, but if you have a farmers market nearby that sells heirloom/unique varieties, you can just plant the seeds from inside the fruits. I just started some Hungarian sweet jalapenos from seeds that came out of a pepper I got at the market. I haven't seen that variety online anywhere, so it might be a cross that this particular farm made... Hopefully they grow true to the originals
