You asked reptitively what the least harmful way for a person that was a racist to notice other people of their racism was, I made a suggestion. So I wasn't advocating people BE racist, I was answering your question of how a person that ALREADY is a racist might behave.

to advocate for something is to publicly recommend, support, or suggest something.

when i asked you what the most "peaceful" way to kick a black person out of your store was, you publicly recommended that people hang signs uninviting black people from their stores.
