Where do you tie down to get a flat canopy?

Wherever you want, just keep tying her down until the canopy evens out.
This plant has been heavily super cropped to get an even canopy of lots of tops. Unfortunately there was a delay flowering her so I've been trying to hold her back because she's outgrowing my veg tub and it's a losing battle. Oh well it ends today and she gets a bigger pot and a week of veg under a bigger light before flipping.

Essentially you want to make the main stem grow sideways instead of up and you'll get a better canopy. As the lower shoots catch up the growth hormones get balanced out and combined with even lighting you'll get even growth.

I have a couple links in my sig on my grows and I tie down pretty hard. It's not rocket surgery. Very easy in fact, PM me if you got questions.

Hey mate..You're deffinetly overfeeding and you are low on N.Try to use a fertilizer with an NPK like 10-3-7 or try a scale that diluted, will be like this one - > 3 times more than P - 1 - 2 times more than P.It WILL keep em green. At least that's what i do.:).Anything like 20-20-20 will work like charm but you might need some more N late in flower.Take my word for it and try it out before you start bombarming. It will work like a charm.

The underfeeding is intentional because that plant has had to live in a small storage tote for two weeks longer than it should have and I've been trying to keep her from growing into the lights.

Ah well.. i get it .It's looking so sad. :D . You could tie her up using a shorter and wider pot.Underfeeding her will cause much more trouble. She will mature in 4 years or produce something of very low quality.Try some auto's for a small storage, they will remain at 30-40 cm mAX
