Where I am 5 weeks in. (*PICS*)

Sprout roughly 5 weeks ago and has shown little problems other then some over fertilization (flushed it, problem was fixed) and some black things under the leaf (assuming its mites, so going to do the garlic spray method.) and white spots are beginning to appear. Came from some really decent buds so I'm hoping for the best.

My real question was is this the normal height for 5 weeks in, I know it depends on strain and all but damn this baby's short! I realize it's not in season to be growing but I figured since I live right next to Mexico ital be fine, just have to regulate hours during flowering and bring it in if it gets too cold at night. I'm using Dyna-gro 7-8-6 food (all I could get around here) with all micro-elements and such once in every 3 waterings and wanted to get other opinions on my first grow, any comments would be great!

Its To Tall. Its Stretching For Light, Bring The Light Closer. This Way It Will Get Bushy And The Stem Will Not Fall Over.

What Type Of Lights Do You Have?

Natural light, it's an outdoor grow..

I've been debating on switching to indoors, but i'm on an extreme budget so a closely watched outdoor grow was my best choice.

I may just make a growbox out of cardboard and aluminum foil to use for veg I guess, I know ive seen this and it's been asked before but where can I get a 250w on a cheap budget.. CFL I guess , Thanks for input

Just Go Buy A Laso And Bring The Sun Down ,that Not To Much To Ask Is It?


Don't Use Foil Don't Use Cardboard, Foil Causes Hot Spots And Cardbroard Will Dry Up And Become Ex Flamible.

Try Ebay You Can Get One For $100 Or So.

Cfls Will Work Fine For The Veg Stage So 8 Weeks- Get The Daylight Or Cool White 6500k, This Is Important (blue Spec)around 6500k For Veg And (red Spec) Around 2700k For Flower.

I Have 6 Daylight 26w 6500k Cfl For My Mother

Looks like I'm going to make the investment, because it is well worth it. If not i'll keep it in the sun as I have been and keep everyone up to date

Ya Just Something That Will Not Absorb Moister. And Dry Out With A Lot Of Heat. I'm Wasn't Saying You Can't Do It, Its Just Not Safe.
Go To Homedepot Or Walmart And Look Around For Something In That Size.

Ok so I improvised with what I had around the house, I have a rather large plastic bin (not too big) with two 20w 1200lumen CFL's and was wondering (I know this has been asked millions of times but i'm going to be a stubborn noob") is they we're sufficent enough to sustain my plant through veg during night time when its not in sun light, I have the bulbs roughly 2 inces from the top of my 5 week old and about 8 inches above my baby sprout.
