Where to get dome for seedlings and clones

Hi folks. I went to lowes and asked for one of those greenhouse domes to start clippings in and they looked at me like I was crazy. Anyone have a home made recipe for a functional pan and lid to make a container for your clones and seedlings to grow in, maybe a while coller with plastic wrap on top?

Also, I purchased some of those little peat pots, the kind you soak and the swell up and make a bag of soil. These things dry out so easily, and I had sprouted some seeds in paper towels, put one each on some of those peat pots and the seedlings won't grow, it's been 4 days. The seeds had sprouted in the paper towels and yet nothings showing after 4 days. Everytime I look in the grow closet, the things are dry. i spray them good but they dry out so fast. I guess this goes back to why i am asking on how to make a home made dome for these things to keep them moist.

The other day i saw some of the little tiny bathroom cups at the dollar store. I think I would rather put some real soil in some of these to set my sprouted seeds in.

Home depot has exactly what you are looking for. I just bought one last weekend. They are right by the door leading to the garden center. Check it out.

i use clear rubbermaid containers, the kind you'd store leftover thanksgiving turkey in. flip it upside down, and you have a water pan and a humidity dome ;)

Some people use those plastic tops you get when you buy a cake. Save them if you get a chance they work great.
