a 3 gallon pot works well for auto's - even auto's need space to grow.

I have felt like that all so, but "auto's" have their place in cultivation. Agreeing with you why waste time growing auto's with small yields; they are getting better, breeders are really working hard to produce a better auto - time will tell

was good for auto 2 oz's. they say use a 3 gallon to a 5 gallon anything larger will be of no use for the plant - 5 gallon? that would be the biggest. Also depends on how one feed them, remember weeks 1-2 no nutrients (root stimulator) week 3-4 veg nutrients - weeks 5-6 switch to flower light and feed bloom nutrients and then weeks 7-8 flush -- this is a 60 day feeding plan. One can "over-feed" auto's very easy example; use either 1/4 or 1/3 of directed use. Use 18/6 lighting

agreed thats basically my base line as well
i started 1/4 and build up to there reactions, mine liked nutes so i went to full strength with no problems, i also flush 3 weeks before harvest so smoke taste really smooth and burns well
