Which Controller?

Im currently looking to maximise the effieciency of my grow tent,

I have an autopot / flood & drain system that basically takes care of the watering,

So now Im looking for an effective way to control the temp / humidity, to make life easier.

I have been looking at the following controllers:

Evolution Temperature Fan Speed Controller

PrimAir Dual Fan Speed Controller


The PrimAir only monitors temp, but is appealing because of its cost,

However the Evolution also monitors Humidity If im reading it correctly.

So im finding it hard to choose.


do I really need something to constantly monitor humidity? or will my min/max hygro do just fine?

Does anyone have any suggestions on these type of units? e.g. alternative / cheaper model? that can do either temp / humidity or both.

This is the one I have but homedepot or other hardware stores, wal-mart have smaller cheaper units as well for about 9.99-20.00 That measure both temp/ humidity.
Don't know much about those other fancy gadgets your wondering about.

I have a simple hygro meter, but looking at the above controllers to maintain the set temp / humidity so that I dont have to keep adjusting it.

They have ones like this and this is like the most expensive one. So they do have cheaper, but not much cheaper than the ones you found.
