No way, don't do that. Go to the Deals thread in the Grow room setup section if you need decent cheap budget lights. Good deals on lights at a good price @Marq1340 is your go to poster with the deals there.
Of course if you have the money go for an HLG/Timber but since you're looking at blurps I'm assuming the budget is low. Not being mean we all start somewhere.

I bought 2 of the 100 watt bar lights for $40 a piece for the hell of it, but they don't have them anymore it doesn't look like. That would've worked too for around $80. I haven't checked them out yet, but people have said good things so far.
But ya, that Best Deals thread is a good place to check too for cheaper lights.

Now there's no dimmer in case you wonder why it's cheap. My daughter uses one for veg and simply raises and lowers as needed. I'll challenge their 6'X6' claim but this is 400 true watts from the wall and it's bright. Been reviewed on RIU before by others.
It's got less than 1000 diodes also. Another reason it's only this much and why I'll say their claim of 36 square feet BS.

I’ve got a Kingbrite 240w lm301h that has been great. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a budget light.
It is significantly better than my mates vipar spectra 2000.
At the opposite end I love ChilLED, but the cost doubles when you add shipping and vat in the U.K.
I couldn’t do that so I’ve ordered a HLG scorpion Diablo.

I've used t5 cfl not good when I went to flower. What ever you get make sure your umol output is what you want. Rasta told me veg round ⁵00 to ⁸⁰0 . You need a kick to around nothing less than ¹¹00 umol to flower. This is what I was told. If Un sure go YouTube micro and look at umol and dli. . I HAVE A AMAZON LIGHT, and I'm burning tips on my saliva, my indica loves it. To each their own, jedi

I am on my first grow.i was gifted 2 390w 2000w Bestva. Picked up some seeds from a friend and wound up with a autoflower. This is my first plant i ever grew, start to finish with bestva lights. I have upgraded since worked pretty good I think , when that was all I could afford. Will use ln my next grow for veg. Only point I am trying to make is it will work . Still on my first grow with photoperiods . So this is FYI only. I am new to growing myself. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

I grow in approx the same footprint 3ft x 2.7ft
I’m using a @MarsHydrofactory FCE-3000 with 300w of actual power which uses bridgelux diodes.
those blurple you’ve posted are probably 100w if that lights. Enough for 1 plant in a 1.5ft x1.5ft footprint.
I’m growing 1 plant this time using this light.
