Which growing factor is most important?

On my last grow i did 4wks of 13.5/10.5 (weeks 4,5,6,7) and it worked great. I'm going to try it again next week on this lady as well.

I do have the 730 light's-out bar but no supplementation of reds during lights on. The rig ~340W of v29 4k and ~225W of CXB 3500. I do have a UVB t5 as well, space is a lil bigger than 2x4'
 
RM3 tought me a lot about environment years ago although he may not know it and ever since i mastered environment it doesnt seem to matter what seed i put in the ground i grow dank. before i learned the ways i was blasting my plants with too much light etc and my quality was not where it should be now i grow the dankest herb in my area. thanks RM3 your a legend

Thank you ! There are a few here that prolly disagree but I keep tryin 8)
 
i remember posting a pic of a plant which i thought was in perfect health and looking amazing. your first comment was your lights too close. i asked you how you could tell from that pic and you noted the serations had a very slight upward turn.
i did some research and learned what i could. taking that comment as advice and not getting defensive as many do was a real turning point for me. now i have ditched my 1000w lights in favor of 315w and never looked back. i was killing my plants with light.

I had a very similar experience with Greegenes. His over all suggestion was to raise lights high when growing in a highly reflective space.

Ive got mine as high as i can get em, still need to train rigorously to maintain effective clearance.
This lady was an amazing producer of solid, sweet nugs. 15 gal, hi brix mix. Typo in caption should read 13.5/10.5....note the bright green petioles5-16 smc.jpg

Thanks man this plant was super vigorous. At one month in a 7 gal she needed to be watered about every day. Many say Kali Mist is good at 100 days. In that case she's got like 70 days to go. I decided to pot her up. I mover her into a partially full 15 gal. I could not use the whole pot because height would be a problem.

I think I'm seeing that the plants (in soil) do much better under very high irradiance in larger pots. I used the 15 gal recently and the plant was exceptional. It's been mentioned in a few posts on RIU that targeted spectrum, high intensity conditions, seem to create nutritional needs that may not be met in traditional hobby scale pots (2, 3,5 gal)

So the point of my post regarding growing factor is that pot size and media mix, for soil growers, is a huge factor. Also maybe test out larger pots if growing under luxury light level.

Got that green crack donkey dick structure going on. Actually, looks pretty damn good at 4 weeks in, my bet is its going to start frosting up a little late however the quality imo looks good to me, its got some smell already after rubbing below the cola's?

big pots seem to help me keep my soil temps down in hot tropical weather and really helps with not watering/feeding so often, i find low and wide better then tall and narrow in hot climates. I used to cut up 20 gal rubbermaids to flower in 5ft rooms.
cut it slightly in half and you have a low profile 10 gallon pot. Works pretty good at keeping short/wide plants in veg for a while and the more surface area touching the ground, the cooler it stays. 350-916618__1.jpg
 
It's has a strong scent, and exceptional vigor. I trimmed enough flowering branches off her to create a whole other flowering plant.

A few times in the past Ive added some space for root growth later in flower and after harvest i observed that the space was filled with roots. In this case I think i was a kinda no-brainer with maybe 70 days to go and plant root bound that potting up is a good idea.

Your king solomoned rubbermaid is a clever idea. I'm undecided on whether the fabric pots are a benefit in my setup. Summer here is hot as ass as well. Coming up on 100F a few days this week.
